eCPD - Data visualisation: Tools, tips and tricks

Date & Time

Thursday, 24 Mar 2022
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

This is a recording of a webinar held live on 24 September 2020.

Whether creating a real-time operational view of people, services and assets; or, keeping communities informed, data visualisation can deliver actionable insights on a single screen. Engaging data visualisations, coupled with location-based analytics, help make sense of complex data and support informed decision-making. Explore visualisation tools with Esri Australia's Gee Fernando and discover how to create interactive maps to visualise and explore your data.

Speaker

Geethaka Fernando | Program Lead, Client Adoption, Esri Australia

As a professional services consultant with Esri Australia, Geethaka (Gee) Fernando works with a wide range of clients to build solutions that streamline business practices and bring data to life through visualisations.

Gee started his career with Transport Canberra, right after graduating with honours as a civil engineer from the University of New South Wales, where he delivered multiple projects - ranging from construction, information technology and policy changes.

Becoming increasingly passionate for data and the benefits of data driven insights to inform decision making, Gee’s work with clients focuses on delivering WebGIS solutions.
