This is a recording of a webinar held live on 12 August
With the increasing use of LiDAR, it’s important to know some of the fundamentals of how this technology works. This webinar focussed on some of the key aspects of how LiDAR instruments work, including the effects and considerations that should be taken into account by end users.
The webinar was presented by Daniel Kruimel, Regional Sales Manager for Teledyne CARIS and Teledyne Optech.
Starting off with a degree in surveying from UniSA, Daniel has gained experience in a number of geospatial disciplines including land surveying, hydrography and remote sensing. This has come through working on projects in both Australia and overseas, including project managing a mobile laser scanning survey of Singapore’s 5,500km dense road network. With his new role with Teledyne Optech, a leading LiDAR manufacturer, Daniel has had an opportunity to see things from ‘both sides of the fence.’
This webinar covered fundamental aspects of LiDAR instruments and what this means for end users.
