We are very pleased to invite you to celebrate the outstanding Tasmanian winners of the 2020 season of the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards. Done a little differently this year, we will be holding a cocktail style networking function on Thursday 4 March 2021 at the Salamanca Inn in Hobart.
Take this chance to (finally!) catch up with surveying and spatial colleagues in person, while enjoying drinks and canapes.

Educational Development Award Winner 2019
Jon demonstrated an unwavering desire to provide an outstanding suite of university degree programs that prepare people for careers in the surveying and spatial sciences profession. His conscientious, deliberate and well-grounded approach to his teaching has guided many in the profession and served as a marker for many in academia. Jon’s management and mentoring has extended across many staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, shaping their contributions to the discipline and profession.
