GIS for Surveyors Webinar Series - Part 4: Geospatial data management and automation

We are pleased to present a six part series of webinars with a focus on providing background information, hints and tips and more on using GIS in surveying. The series is being hosted by some of our wonderful NSW Committee members but is open to professionals from across Australia!

The Series

• What does the future hold?

Session Four

You have seen how GIS software can be a powerful tool for finding, creating, analysing, visualising and sharing many kinds of spatial data. Now it's time to have a look at how to do all those things and more in an efficient and streamlined way utilising some of the automation capabilities available in GIS - this can take out a lot of the work of re-running a process.

This webinar will build on the knowledge gained in the previous sessions by giving you an overview of some of the popular methods for taking manual effort out of complex repeatable tasks such as multi-step data processing, converting between formats and creating mapbooks from a single layout page
