Bradley is the Senior Cadastral Surveyor with the Surveyor-General’s Land Boundaries Section of the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) in South Australia.
Prior to joining Land Boundaries in 2002, he worked extensively in exploration and geodetic surveying in WA, QLD & NSW and civil construction surveying in SA.
Bradley is the SA representative on the Geocentric Datum of Australia Modernisation Implementation Working Group (GMIWG), a sub-committee of the Intergovernmental Committee on Surveying & Mapping (ICSM) responsible for stakeholder engagement to enhance the awareness of the modernised spatial reference system for Australia; GDA2020.
His presentation will explore implications GDA2020 will have on cadastral surveying and the changes that cadastral surveyors will need to be aware of.
Organisational Change Manager – QLD Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM)
Nicole is an Organisational Change and Communications Manager working with DNRM to transform the cadastral and geodetic environment, and enable GDA2020. Nicole has led the stakeholder engagement and change management for a number of performance improvement and business transformation projects in the utilities sector and construction industry including implementing a new GIS platform, enhancing functionality of tablets for field workers, and developing consumer apps.
Senior Survey Advisor – QLD Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM)
Darren is a Senior Survey advisor in DNRM working to improve geodesy and positioning within Queensland. He is the Queensland representative on the ICSM GDA Modernisation Implementation Working Group. He has spent a significant period of his recent career working to standardise and improve the outcomes available from the use of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (permanent GNSS installations), and analysing the performance and quality of these sites.
