SSSI Victoria and ISV are pleased to co-host the upcoming International Women's Day Breakfast Seminar 2020.
Hear from DELWP, Red Cross, academia and industry presenters, participate in discussion and Q&A sessions.
Amelia Chapman, Director of Land Information and Spatial Servics, DELWP
Amelia Chapman is currently on maternity leave from her position of Director of Land Information and Spatial Services in the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. In this role, Amelia oversees the delivery and enhancement of DELWP’s prized Vicmap spatial data services, the authoritative mapbase of Victoria and coordinates a program of over $4.5 million in aerial imagery and LiDAR acquisition on behalf of government each year.
Amelia is a co-convener of the Spatial and Surveying Diversity Leadership Network, a cross-section of 30 members from government, industry and academia formed on International Women’s Day in 2018 with the goal to leverage the reach and support of the network to support a more diverse and inclusive spatial and surveying industry.
Amelia is an experienced public sector leader spanning a diverse career in areas such as climate change policy, local government, land use planning and more recently spatial service delivery. She is passionate about delivering customer focused and high-quality services to the Victorian Community and has been a fierce advocate for diversity and inclusion in DELWP.
Kellie Dean, President ISV, Principal of Surveying Spiire
Kellie will be speaking on Future of Work. Kellie is a leading advocate in the surveying and geospatial industry determined to enhance the profile and diversity of the surveying profession. Currently President of the Institution of Surveyors Victoria (ISV), Kellie brings a unique perspective based on her leadership experience in multidisciplinary consultancy businesses and involvement in some of Victoria’s most iconic property developments. She is also a member of the Diversity in Surveying Committee that is building a support network for women in the profession. This is an exciting chapter for both ISV and Kellie who currently heads up the surveying business in Spiire’s Melbourne office.
Kellie will be speaking on the Future of work - how we will work, where we will work, health and wellbeing, digital enablers.
