Join us as SSSI NSW hosts the first in a series of Twilight talks and networking sessions.
Members and non-members from the Illawarra region are invited to come along to network whilst hearing a number of interesting lightning presentations from local spatial experts.
You are welcome to purchase your own food and drinks on the night from the bar!

Hydroscheme Industry Partnership Program
The Hydroscheme Industry Partnership Program (HIPP) is a new chapter in the long history of maritime geospatial data gathering in Australia. Breaking the traditional model by which Royal Australian Navy units conducted surveys in support of the National Charting Program. The HIPP marks a new era in hydrographic surveying in Australia and seeks to use the vast experience and best practices of the Australian maritime industry to commercially tender for hydrographic surveys. This presentation covers the HIPP and the quality control methods used to guarantee the navigational safety of the rendered hydrographic surveys.
