This time next week we’ll be packing our bags to head to Darwin for the 15th South East Asia Survey Congress. From 15–18 August, almost 400 delegates will take advantage of the
well-rounded schedule of activities, workshops and technical sessions on offer.
In addition to the impressive congress program, delegates can enjoy the Top End’s unique cultural and natural assets with pre-congress tours to Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield National Parks, a barramundi fishing tour and a visit to the Tiwi Islands starting on Tuesday 13 August. With temperatures expected to reach 32 degrees, don’t forget the sunscreen.
We’re honoured to welcome H.E. Dr Aladdin D. Rillo, Deputy Secretary General of the ASEAN Federation, as our international guest of honour. ASEAN FLAG executive committee pre-council and council meetings, and the UNGGIM Asia Pacific and FIG meetings will be held on Wednesday 14 August, ahead of the congress proper, which begins on Thursday 15 August.
It’s not too late to be part of Asia’s best surveying event – simply go to https://www.ivvy.com.au/event/ZQTM4S/register-now.html and reserve your place.
SEASC 2019 promises to be a stimulating week of Collaboration, Communication and Capacity Building for surveying industry professionals. See you there.
