On 15 May, Version 4 of the Conveyancing Rules will replace Version 3.
These rules fulfill the Government’s mandated timeframe to transition to eConveyancing in NSW by 1 July 2019.
Version 4 of the Conveyancing Rules brings a number of changes that make it mandatory for certain transactions to be lodged electronically. These rules were republished on 13 April to correct certain errors that were identified.
A copy of the new rules, along with a summary is provided here.
Model Operating Requirements and Model Participation Rules for the national eConveyancing reform are also out for consultation.
These are key components of the legal framework for eConveyancing. ARNECC is seeking feedback on these until 24 April 2018.
You can find the draft documents and provide feedback here.
