International Women's Day 2022

March 4, 2022

Next week we celebrate International Women's Day. In our own sector, it is an opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate the achievements of some of our very talented surveying and spatial professionals.

Earlier this week, SSSI was proud to see that Australia's own Roshni Sharma and Suelynn Choy were both recognised as Geospatial World's Top 50 Rising Stars. What was even more pleasing was that over 50% of the Rising Stars identified were women.  Check out the list of Rising Stars and read about all the exceptional contributions they are making within our sector and other industries.

Within SSSI, we too have an important role to play in providing the forum and opportunity to showcase our female surveying and spatial professionals. Next week we have a number of events happening which do just that. Take a moment and look at our upcoming events and help us celebrate International Women's Day.
