Bruce is responsible for the State of New South Wales’ geodetic and positioning infrastructure and for its spatial and mapping functions. Bruce has twenty-five years’ experience in the spatial sector, in the Queensland, Victorian and New South Wales governments.

Want to find out about where NSW Spatial Services is implementing new technologies and creating innovation?
 
At Locate20, Bruce Thompson (Executive Director of Spatial Services for the NSW Government) will deliver a plenary keynote telling you all about this. This will include Real Time Service Delivery Mapping delivered by NSW Service Point, and API driven service allowing on-the-fly validation and geocoding of addresses before they are deidentified, aggregated and displayed spatially. This is set to transform the way that the NSW Government manages and supplies data - but what does this mean for the way that you operate day-to-day? Come along to Locate20 to find out more!

Dr. Nadine Alameh is the recently appointed CEO of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). She is a recognized leader in the GIS field, having built a career out of her dedication to interoperability and innovation in several domains including Aviation, Earth Observations, Public Safety and Defense.
