Queensland mandates BIM on large government projects

Queensland announces new policy requiring use of Building Information Modelling on all new government construction projects with estimated capital costs over $50 million. 

Announcing the policy last Thursday, Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning Cameron Dick said that the new policy will help improve the way government infrastructure is designed, constructed and used.
