SICC NATIONAL COMMISSION WELCOMES NEW CHAIR


We are pleased to welcome Austen Pepper as Chair of the SICC National Committee. Our thanks is extended to Rob Campbell who served as Chair of the National Committee for just over a year. 

Be part of our upcoming World GIS Day Member Showcase
 

World GIS Day is on Wednesday 16 November and this date is fast approaching.

This year, the SICC National Committee has decided to host an online event World GIS Day Member Showcase on this day (from 11am – 11:45am AEDT) and highlight some of our local GIS heroes. Attendance is open to all geospatial professionals – free of charge.

Share your thoughts. We want our members to be part of this online event!

The intent is to have 4 or 5 short presentations from geospatial professionals who will speak on the topic: ‘what is spatial and why is it special’. We want to share different perspectives from a diverse speaker group. You can present live or prepare a recorded presentation for us to show on the day.

We would like to invite you to consider presenting (for 8-10 mins) as part of this Member Showcase.

If you are keen to present, please let us know by emailing katie.lemiere@sssi.org.au and we will be in touch with further details. Please respond no later than COB Monday 7 November 2022.
