The Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) is proud to announce Mr Lee Hellen has been appointed Chair of the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) Land Surveying Commission.
Lee Hellen is a Registered Surveyor with Cadastral and Consulting Endorsement in Queensland and is a Registered Licensed Surveyor in the Northern Territory. He has been an active supporter of SSSI and recently retired from the SSSI National Board. ‘
‘SSSI has benefited greatly from Lee’s expertise on the National Board for the past 3 years and it is fantastic that his involvement continues as Chair of the Land Surveying Commission’ said Paul Digney, President, SSSI
SSSI would also like to acknowledge retiring Land Surveying Commission Chair, Mr Lindsay Perry.
‘Lindsay has been a stalwart of the SSSI Land Surveying Commission for a number of years. His energy, knowledge and business acumen has benefited our surveying members and the wider profession extensively. We are very grateful for his efforts’, said Mr Digney.
The Land Surveying Commission looks after the professional development needs of those members working in Land Development, Cadastral Surveying, Topographic Surveying GPS and Geodetic Surveying, Construction Surveying and Set out, Urban Design and Planning, Land Administration and Laser Scanning and is SSSI’s largest Commission.
