SSSI NSW-YP's GEOCACHING EVENT


Thank you to those who attended our first ever geocaching event for the NSW YP's.
It was a fun filled event and we look forward to organising the next one! 


7th Smart Data Smart Cities (SDSC) and the 17th 3D GeoInfo (JOINT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE


City Futures research Institute¸ Smart Cities and Infrastructure cluster, and GRID, UNSW Sydney are excited to be hosting two international conferences, the 7th Smart Data Smart Cities (SDSC) and the 17th 3D GeoInfo in Sydney from 19-21 October 2022.

This is the first time SDSC has come to the Southern Hemisphere, the second time 3D GeoInfo has come to Australia and the first time both conferences have been organised jointly, providing a unique opportunity to show case and network with others in the fields of Smart Cities and 3D Geoinformation. 

SDSC and 3D GeoInfo will bring together Australian and international experts in City Analytics, GIS, digital twins, 3D data creation and management, ICTs, smart cities and data science, net zero cities, smart homes and transportation, 3D/4D modelling, 3D/4D immersive visualisation, blockchain technology, data privacy, crowdsourcing, disaster management systems, AI, BIM infrastructure and much more, all from leading research institutes to discuss advances in methods and applications. It provides a forum to discuss the use data and technology to plan and shape our future cities. SDSC is the annual conference of the Urban Data Management Society, which is over 40 years old. 3D GeoInfo has been organised annually since 2006 in four continents. In recent years, both conference have been supported by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS).
