SPACE+SPATIAL INDUSTRY GROWTH ROADMAP2030 - HAVE YOUR SAY

In 2021, a coalition of leading Australian space and spatial organisations are co-convening a series of dialogues for space, surveying and spatial professionals to develop the Space+Spatial Industry Growth Roadmap 2030 which facilitates accelerated mutual growth of these industries looking out to 2030. Now, feedback is being sought on a range of issues that will lead to a SPACE+SPATIAL Industry Growth Roadmap 2030.

This is your invitation to join in the dialogue.

A lot of the hard work has been done. A Space+Spatial Industry Growth Roadmap 2030 Consultation Paper is out for comment. The purpose of the consultation paper is to seek feedback on actions that can be taken over the coming decade to accelerate the shared growth of the space and spatial industries.

Check out the SPACE+SPATIAL Industry Growth Roadmap 2030  for all the information you need about the Roadmap. And remember your feedback is still welcome and we invite you to participate in the online survey to share your thoughts and opinions. Click here to complete the online survey.

OGC & SSSI New Space Online Online Workshop

SSSI and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) are partnering once again to offer a topical, insightful and interesting online session from 7:00am AEST on Thursday 26 August 2021.

‘New Space’ is a paradigm driven by a combination of technology and market advances such as rocket launches, small satellites, orbital planes, evolving sensors, and ground infrastructures.

Join us for a virtual event focused on highlighting a new, quickly growing space community and infrastructure in Australia, and how the region can learn based on successes and challenges faced by space programs across the world during this truly-global space event. Participants will go beyond earth and the universe, and work together to highlight how information sharing through new technologies and systems can shape a bright future for the New Space domain.

This virtual event is perfect for spatial professionals and will have an emphasis on digital twins and how they can better enable both well defined and emerging space and spatial entities and describe best practices, challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
