SSSI Webinars on spatial technologies and health


SSSI webinar on Spatial Technology within Health. This webinar series consists of several webinars all related using spatial technology to enable digital clinical workflows and support health workers with their decisions. The series has mixed talks relating to a number of clinical related projects from genomic studies, speech pathology and burns. Each webinar will run for approximately 45min (30min presentation and 15 min). The aim of the webinar series is to show how spatial technology can disrupt the medical field and to be inspired by what can be achieved for the benefits of the community.

This national webinar series consists of several webinars all related to drone surveying. The series has mixed talks about best practices when performing drone surveying and case studies/ applications. The best practise talks are presented by experts in the field of photogrammetry, drone operation and surveying. The case studies will be presented by the sponsors of the series and related to specific topics such as mining, inspection and agriculture. Each webinar will run for 1 h (5 min introduction, 40min presentation and 15 min discussion). Please keep checking your emails for more details.



The Canadian Remote Sensing Symposium is going virtual! The pandemic is not going to stop the world’s longest running canadian conference on remote sensing – the Canadian Remote Sensing Symposium. In 2020, we are offering a virtual conference using the latest technology to bring the whole world together.

The Canadians invite colleagues from around the world to join them in July for what is expected to be a unique and interesting conference showcasing the latest research and information our planet needs to make tomorrow better.
