WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA WORKSHOP

DMIRS is currently seeking feedback from stakeholders on the proposed Work Health and Safety Regulations for Western Australia. Details of the review process can be found here. Following the successful workshop held by AIMS earlier this month to discuss the proposed regulations, we would like to extend an invitation to SSSI & AIMS members + guests to attend a follow-up workshop.
SURVEYOR'S TOUR OF ELIZABETH QUAY
Date: Monday, 18th November, 2019
Time: 5:00pm - 8:30pm (tour commences at 5:15pm SHARP)
Place: Elizabeth Quay (Meeting place to be confirmed closer to the time) + SSSI (45 St George's Terrace, Perth)
Cost: $50 SSSI Members / $75 non members (includes tour + presentation and networking drinks at SSSI offices

Join us as RM Surveys takes us on a Surveyor's tour of Elizabeth Quay - a great opportunity to have a look at a number of existing and new projects located at Elizabeth Quay! Then walk to the new SSSI offices located at 45 St Georges Terrace where we will have networking and nibbles followed by presentations from Murray Dolling (Landgate) and Rachel Chapman (Taylor Burrell Barnett).

Enjoy an evening of great fellowship and catch-up with former colleagues and friends while enjoying a delicious three course dinner and refreshments. Our guest speaker for the evening is Geoff Robb, Managing Director, RM Surveys and Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards 2019 Professional of the Year. Geoff will discuss his volunteer work and the immeasurable benefits gained from volunteering.

INDUSTRY GOLF DAY
Date: Wednesday, 27th November, 2019
Time: 11:30am for 12 noon tee off - shot gun start
Venue: Maylands Peninsular Public Golf Course - Swanbank Road, Maylands
Refreshments: Sausage sizzle (meat or vegan) included. Drinks available on course and after until 6:00pm
Cost: For 18 holes and shared buggy $60 (inc GST) per person
Rules of Play: Modified ambrose - rules are provided
Prizes: Winning Team wins the Trimble Perpetual Trophy plus 4 bottles of French Champagne. Runner up and novelty prizes for all holes by a wide range of sponsors.

SSSI WA END OF YEAR SUNDOWNER + YP MENTORING PROGRAM GRADUATION

Please join SSSI WA as we review all that has been achieved in 2019. We will also celebrate the hard work, dedication and well-earned achievements of the 2019 Cohort for the SSSI National Young Professionals Mentoring Program! Our mentors and mentees of all ages and career stages have traversed through 4 months of reflection, goal-setting and broadening their horizons, and at this event will be receiving their graduation certificates and sharing a little bit about their journeys .
After formalities - there will be a barefoot bowls competition and BBQ Sundowner.
