The Awards Dinners will be held across the country in th e latter half of this year.  Nominations close from 20 July - for more information visit the APSEA page on our website.  Many of our members go above and beyond their roles on a daily basis, so it is fantastic to have this opportunity to acknowledge them.

It has been a year of change at so many levels for SSSI, much of it about clearing the decks and setting ourselves for a period of strong growth and improvement in member services.

To achieve these results, having the right people at every level of the institute is vital. It is therefore my pleasure to advise you of the appointment of SSSI’s new NSW Regional Operations Manager, Ms Megan Lavender. Megan will commence her work with SSSI on Monday 16 July 2018.

Megan brings a wealth of experience in NFP and member-based organisations to SSSI. Megan has undertaken roles as CEO of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association and Australian Lawyers Alliance, CFO of SFX Sports Group Australia, and National Head of Corporate Affairs of Tianda Group Australia.

She also holds a number of Directorships and Committee roles in prominent community-based organisations including the Royal Automobile Club of Australia, Road Sense Australia, Special Olympics Australia and the Bankstown Harness Racing Club.

I believe that Megan’s breadth of understanding of member based organisations, her great communications skills, and her strong networking and event managements capacities, will make her a fantastic contributor to SSSI in NSW and nationally.

I ask that you welcome Megan to SSSI and help her to settle in, beginning on 16 July.
