The Member level of SSSI is offered to applicants who hold a minimum three-year bachelor degree in a relevant spatial discipline and at least one year's work experience in a relevant spatial discipline. Certified copies of degree/s, registration/licence, diploma or certificate (signed by an authorised person), must be posted to SSSI, PO Box 307, Deakin West, ACT, 2600 for approval by the SSSI Membership Committee.

The Associate level of SSSI is offered to applicants who hold a diploma or advanced diploma in a relevant spatial discipline. Associate level of SSSI is also offered to those who are first year graduates following a diploma or advanced diploma in a relevant spatial discipline. Certified copies of degree/s, registration/licence, diploma or certificate (signed by an authorised person), must be posted to SSSI, PO Box 307, Deakin West, ACT, 2600 for approval by the SSSI Membership Committee.

The Affiliate level of SSSI is offered to applicants who have a technical institute certificate level 1–4 and/or to those applicants who are 18 years and over who do not hold any post-secondary spatial qualifications. Please upload your qualification/s and CV in the DOCUMENT section.

The First Year Graduate level of SSSI is offered to applicants who have completed their bachelor's degree and are currently in their first year of work. Certified copies of degree/s, registration/licence, diploma or certificate (signed by an authorised person) must be posted to SSSI, PO Box 307, Deakin West, ACT, 2600 for approval by the SSSI Membership Committee.

The Second Year Graduate level of SSSI is offered to applicants who have completed their bachelor's degree and are currently in their second year of work. Certified copies of degree/s, registration/licence, diploma or certificate (signed by an authorised person) must be posted to SSSI, PO Box 307, Deakin West, ACT, 2600 for approval by the SSSI Membership Committee.

The Student level of SSSI is offered to applicants who are studying full time or part time a relevant spatial course at a university or a technical institute. Please complete your profile and upload a copy of your Student ID card under DOCUMENTS and also add your QUALIFICATION including course completion date.
