SSSI Member Webmap

SSSI-SICC Member Webmap

A  map is symbolic representation of selected characteristics of a place, usually drawn on a flat surface.   The traditional map has developed from its original paper form into a web based map that can provide the end user a wealth of information to inform their decision making.

The art of spatial science and cartography is an enabler to share our stories with multiple users across a large geographic spread, what better way to showcase the reach of our organisation than through this platform.

The members map uses an ArcGIS Online Webmap to show membership across Australia.  To ensure that there is a level of anonymity with our members information this map has been generalized to show only number of members in each suburb.

The map will provide a number of significant insights into understanding our membership base, assisting with event management,  targeted promotional activities and a broad range of  State and National planning initiatives.
