SSSI Awards - Individuals
Undergraduate Student (Clem Jones Medal)
This award is conferred on a student who has undertaken a research project in the course of their studies that contributes to the ongoing progression of the surveying and spatail profession.
Winner: Patrick Metcalfe
Post Graduate Student
This award is conferred on a Postgraduate student who has undertaken a research project that contributes to the ongoing progression of the surveying and spatial profession. Students eligible to enter this award include PhD and Masters Research students.
Winner: Sudarshan Karki
Young Spatial Professional of the year
This Award recognises a young spatial professional who has made a significant contribution in their field and acted as a role model for others in the industry.
Winner: Megan Dillon
Education Development
The Education and Professional Development award is for practicing academics who have substantially and excellently contributed (through teaching, research, publication or professional activities) to the study and promotion of the field of spatial science.
Winner: Mick Law
Regional Special Achievement
This award is aimed at recognising not just a professional's industry contribution but also their contributions to the community.
Winner: Jemma Picco
Spatial Professional of the year
Our Spatial Professional of the Year award is for a practitioner working in any of the disciplines of the spatial sciences whose professional achievements are acknowledged by peer citation as exemplifying the highest standards of excellence and ethical conduct.
