Committee

The SSSI Tasmanian Regional committee is a dedicated group of professionals who volunteer their time to provide services to Tasmanian members, and to advance the status of spatial Information and technologies in the State.

The Regional committee for is elected every two years and is made up of Commission and General representatives, all of whom work together to deliver services to members.

Commission representatives are there specifically to ensure that the needs of each professional group are met through focussed communications, professional development events and certification. Commission representatives are active both at a regional level, and at a national level, where strategic direction and operational goals are set by the National Commission committees.
