HackED

SSSI is pleased to be supporting WALIS in a new school education initiative called HackED

Why HackED?

Hack-fests have proven a very successful and innovative approach to solving problems. Local examples include GovHack and RIIT Unearthed. HackED brings science and technology to life using location information in a creative, high intensity and fun event. Student teams are supported by expert mentors to turn ideas into real solutions to location-based questions.

HackED Mentors

HackED introduces high school students in years 7-10 to the power of location information and technology and enable them to use it as part of problem-solving at school and as part of everyday decision-making in the work place in the future. Please have a look at the Mentors Pack and consider becoming a mentor for HackED in 2018.

Calling HackED 2018 Mentors!

We need your help to help our kids. To get involved, please contact the WALIS Office on 9273 9391 or via walis@walis.wa.gov.au
