South Australia

The South Australian regional Young Professionals committee is an active, organised and energised group of people from industry, government and Universities who are active across the state. 

Meetings are held each month, at 5.15pm in the SSSI Boardroom (Level 7, 50 Grenfell St, Adelaide). Upcoming meetings will be on Tuesday 24 April, Tuesday 12 June, Tuesday 24 July, Tuesday 4 September, Tuesday 16 October, and Tuesday 20 November (this one will be at the pub). 

They have a great event's calendar planned for 2018, including:

  • University and TAFE visits throughout the year, 
  • Locate 2018 and the Young Professional's GeoRabble in April
  • Tertiary studies and career expo in April
  • Young Professionals Pub Night in May, July, August and December
  • Young Professionals / Women in Spatial Breakfasts in June and October
  • Cadastral workshop breakfast in June
  • Young Professionals speed networking event in September
  • International GIS Day and Cadastral workshop dinner in November
  • Industry Christmas barbecue in December
